Robin van Persie has overcome an ankle injury and could be available for Manchester United's fourth-round FA Cup tie with Cambridge United on Friday.
Manager Louis van Gaal provided the update during Thursday's news conference, saying his striker's availability for the match will be decided following the team's final training session.
Van Persie was forced to miss one match after suffering an ankle injury during the second half of the team's contest against Southampton on Jan. 11.
The Dutch striker has eight goals during his 20 Premier League appearances.
