Johnny Sauter: Third in Vankor 350

Sauter finished third in the Vankor 350 Gander Outdoors Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway Friday night.

Analysis:

Sauter would be a Top 10 driver all night in the Vankor 350. The veteran driver would work his way to the lead for 7 laps during the start of stage 3. However, he would quickly succumb to Kyle Busch's onslaught. Sauter would maintain great track position throughout the final stage and collected the brilliant third-place finish. It was his second Top 5 of the season and Sauter remains fourth overall in the driver point standings.
