Mesut Ozil: Returns from Knee Injury

Ozil (knee) came on in the 73rd minute for Olivier Giroud and finished with one shot and one tackle, while completing 22 passes, during Sunday's 3-0 win over Stoke City.

Analysis:

Ozil was making his first appearance since Oct. 5 against Chelsea due to the knee injury, but he looked solid in his limited time Sunday. If he can put together a full week of training, he has a shot of returning to the starting XI for next Sunday's crunch match at Manchester City.
