Ricky Stenhouse Jr.: Third at Talladega Superspeedway

Stenhouse Jr. finished third in the 1000Bulbs.com 500 at Talladega Superspeedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Stenhouse spent much of the afternoon racing outside the Top 10. This was the running at the front performance we've been used to seeing from the No. 17 team of late at superspeedways. However, the late caution would set up NASCAR overtime, and Stenhouse suddenly had a nose for the front. He made the most of his opportunity and strode away from Talladega with a brilliant third-place finish. It was just his third Top-5 finish of the season.
