Justin Allgaier: Third at the Monster Mile

Allgaier finished third in the Bar Harbor 200 Xfinity Series race at Dover International Speedway Saturday afternoon.

Analysis:

The No. 7 Chevrolet wasn't nearly as fast as it looked in the practices this weekend at Dover. Still, Allgaier led 23 laps for the afternoon and raced among the Top 5 in the Bar Harbor 200. He would finish both the first and second stages in third-place. The stretch run would see Allgaier mix it up at the front, but he didn't have the speed to pull off the win. It was his 16th Top 5 of the season, and Allgaier advances in the Chase.
