Austin Cindric: Leads Opening Xfinity Practice at the Roval

Cindric was fastest in opening practice for the Drive for the Cure 200 Xfinity Series race at the Roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway Thursday. He turned a fast lap of 102.603 mph.

Analysis:

Cindric seemed to figure the challenging Roval out faster than everyone else this opening session. He was the only driver to crack the 102 mph mark, and he bested Daniel Hemric by over 1 mph. The driver of the Penske Racing No. 22 Ford has started his weekend well at the new road course. Cindric appears to have Top 5 speed for Saturday's Drive for the Cure 200.
