Daniel Hemric: Third in GoBowling 250

Hemric finished third in the GoBowling 250 Xfinity Series race at Richmond International Raceway Friday night.

Analysis:

It was a good points night for the driver of the No. 21 Chevrolet. Hemric would start third on the grid and race to the stage 1 victory. He would also finish third in stage 2 and earn very valuable playoff points. Hemric led 35 laps in the early going, but that would be his stint at the front. The third-place finish was his 13th Top 5 of the season.
