Ryan Newman: Sixth-Place at New Hampshire
Newman and the Chevrolet accessories team earned a solid sixth-place finish at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon, ryannewman.com reports.
Analysis:
It was one of the better short track performances of the season for Newman and the No. 31 team. The effort was a great momentum builder for the coming weeks. "Overall, we made some really nice gains during today's race from where we started this weekend. We had a competitive car, especially during the long green-flag runs," Newman said. "Our pit stops were on point today and I appreciate our pit crew for their hard work. They either gained spots for me, or at least maintained, which was crucial."
