Lewis Hamilton: Finishes second in home race

Hamilton finished second in Sunday's British Grand Prix by storming through the field after contact with Kimi Raikkonen in the first turn.

Analysis:

Hamilton was beaten off of the start line by Sebastian Vettel, but collided with Kimi Raikkonen in the first turn. The contact sent Hamilton down the order from which he fought his way back, leveraging two safety car periods toward the end of the race, to a runner-up finish to championship rival Sebastian Vettel.
