Clint Bowyer: Third at Sonoma Raceway

Bowyer finished third in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Bowyer would start 19th on the grid and quickly race his way forward. The Stewart Haas Racing star could never get to the lead, but he would manage to be a face inside the Top 5 most of the afternoon at the California road course. In the closing laps he'd shore up his Top-5 running position and take the checkered flag for a brilliant third-place. It was Bowyer's fifth Top 5 of the season and eighth-career Top 5 at Sonoma Raceway.
