Manchester City's Samir Nasri: Chelsea 'look unbeatable at the moment'
Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri tells it like it is.
The Frenchman was asked about his team's 2-1 victory over Swansea this weekend, and how important the result was considering the need for the Citizens to remain within realistic striking distance of league leaders Chelsea - whom they already trail by eight points.
"It was important to keep in touch with Chelsea, who look unbeatable at the moment," Nasri told the Manchester Evening News. "It was really important to win the game."
While some City supporters may scoff at the Frenchman's analysis, it's difficult to disagree with him.
Jose Mourinho's men are unbeaten this season, winning ten of 12 matches, while leading the Premier League in goals (30) and sitting second to Southampton by conceding just 11.
It's still relatively early in the campaign, but it's hard to see a scenario, right now, where Chelsea falls off the cliff and allows City back into the race.
