Jimmie Johnson: Leads Texas Happy Hour

Johnson was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 198.143 mph.

Analysis:

The conditions were pretty miserable with extreme cold and wet track conditions. Final practice saw Johnson jump to the top of the scoring pylon with his best lap of the weekend. He beat out Kevin Harvick for the fastest lap of this final session. Johnson is a seven-time Texas winner, and looks poised to crack the Top 10 in Sunday's 500-mile race.
