Jose Mourinho shoots down Petr Cech exit rumours
Rumours regarding Petr Cech's possible exit from Stamford Bridge were put to rest Friday.
As Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho fielded questions ahead of his side's weekend fixture, the Portuguese boss responded to the gossip surrounding Cech and took a few moments to belittle the news outlets and blogs that conjure up such stories.
“In which Mickey Mouse website? In which Mickey Mouse blog?" Mourinho asked.
“In this moment, news is born every day, every minute, every second. Some blogs, some websites who don’t know where they get the news. I promise you that what I’m saying is the truth. On my desk, I have zero proposals (for Cech).”
Cech, who is under contract at Chelsea for another two years, has only appeared in one Premier League match this season - after Thibaut Courtois suffered a head injury in October - and has started four matches between the Capital One cup and Champions League.
