Martin Truex Jr.: Top-5 Finish in Pennzoil 400
Truex Jr. finished fourth in the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The defending event champion had a good day at Las Vegas, but Truex's No. 78 Toyota simply didn't have the speed to challenge for the win. The Furniture Row Racing star would lead 6 laps under caution and that would be his only stint at the front for the day. Truex would rally late and shore up his Top-5 track position to cross the finish line fourth. It was his second Top-5 finish of the season, and he moves into fourth-place in the championship points.
