Chase Briscoe: Named Most Popular Driver in Truck Series

Rookie Briscoe was named as the 2017 National Motorsports Press Association's Most Popular Driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NASCAR PR reports.

Analysis:

After his first-career victory in the season finale, it was a shoe in for Briscoe to take most popular driver honors. The 22-year-old finished sixth overall in the driver point standings and he also claimed Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in the truck series. Briscoe becomes the third Brad Keselowski Racing driver to win this award in the last four seasons.
