Simeon Jackson: Forward Scores First of the Season

Jackson got the first goal of the new season for himself and his club this weekend, grabbing the opening strike in a 1-1 draw with QPR on Saturday.

Jackson didn't even make the bench last week, but in the wake of Norwich's 5-0 defeat, was given the start tonight by manager Chris Hughton. He certainly capitalized on it, and should continue to start as long as he's making an impact. It should be noted however that this match was between two teams who both got trounced 5-0 last week, and against tougher opposition, Jackson might find his chances far more difficult to come by.
