Arsenal's Jack Wilshere unlikely to play vs. Burnley Saturday

Jack Wilshere will likely miss Arsenal's weekend match against Burnley after injuring his knee in the squad's last Premier League game, manager Arsene Wenger revealed Friday.

Wenger was unsure of Wilshere's availability for the team's Champions League clash with Anderlecht on Tuesday, but says he's certain the English international will be ready for the Nov. 9 meeting with Swansea City.

Wilshere suffered the injury during Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Hull City, after what Wenger called a kick to the knee.

Despite Arsenal's ongoing injury crisis, Wilshere's absence in the midfield doesn't hurt the team as much as a loss at other positions. Their depth at midfield should allow them to remain competitive during the fixture against a poor Burnley side.
