Kevin Harvick: Third in Bank of America 500
Harvick finished third in the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
It was the best performance in the last several weeks for the No. 4 Ford team. Harvick started on the second row of the grid and quickly took the lead on lap 52. The Stewart Haas Racing star led the most laps of the day with 149, and set the pace much of the event. Harvick had a shot at the win on the final restart, but would come up just short in his effort to track down Martin Truex Jr. It was Harvick's 10th Top-5 finish of the season. He sits third overall in the Chase standings heading to Talladega next weekend.
