Continuing his excellent record of humanitarian assistance, Didier Drogba reportedly made a donation of 5,000 school kits to less-privileged children in his homeland, Ivory Coast, this week.

According to SuperSport, the kits include notebooks and textbooks, bags, writing materials, mathematics sets, water bottles and toiletries, which will be distributed to selected families.

Drogba, whose legacy includes an integral role in bringing peace to Ivory Coast as well as building a £3-million ($4.85 million) hospital in the country, is making the donation through his Didier Drogba Foundation, which was created in 2007 and aims to provide financial and material support in health and education to African people.
