Eden Hazard heaps praise on Ronaldo and Messi, claims he's 'not a top-5 player yet'

Eden Hazard has won plenty of plaudits since moving to Chelsea and proving he is among the best attacking players in the world. That said, there is still at least one critic who thinks the Belgian needs to improve to be included among the pantheon of the game's very best: himself.

The Chelsea winger highlighted five players he believes outrank him at the moment, reserving special praise for the two men widely considered the very best on earth.

"I'm not a top-five player yet," said Hazard, according to the Daily Mail. "Maybe I'm close to it, but I still have to work on some aspects. You can only be part of that group if you are decisive in the top games. I (am starting to do) that, like I did against Manchester City and Arsenal.

"Who are better than me? The two extra-terrestrials, (Cristiano) Ronaldo and (Lionel) Messi, (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic, (Franck) Ribery and (Arjen) Robben. They make the difference almost every game."

At just 23 years old, there is still plenty of room for Hazard to grow, and there's no reason he shouldn't be in the conversation in the very near future.
