Victor Valdes' potential move to Liverpool is still on the cards.
Reports emerged earlier today that the goalkeeper, a free agent after leaving Barcelona this past summer, put the kibosh on a move to Anfield because the Reds wanted him to undergo a four-day trial to prove that he has fully recovered from a torn ACL.
Responding to the rumors, Valdes' agent Gines Carvajal told Sport: "Liverpool didn't ask us to train for four days. We haven't rejected it because it [the story] is false.
"Neither Brendan Rodgers nor Liverpool have ever made us this proposal, at any time."
