Manchester United confirms Ander Herrera suffered fractured rib against West Ham

Manchester United will be without midfielder Ander Herrera for at least the next few weeks.
Herrera, whose impact has been largely overshadowed by the high-profile signings of Angel di Maria and Radamel Falcao, has proven to be a fantastic signing for United early in the season.
The Spaniard has scored twice and provided an assist in four EPL matches thus far in the young season, while putting in an incredible amount of defensive work in a team that is clearly lacking in that area. Herrera's 3.5 tackles per game lead the Red Devils.
While the team did not disclose exactly how long he will be out of action, the statement above suggests that he will miss most of the month.
