There will be a sea of banners demanding a change in manager during Newcastle's fixture against Hull City this weekend as the supporters' distaste for Alan Pardew has boiled over.

The Telegraph reports Saturday's protest is set to be "one of the biggest demonstrations of its kind in English football," and that fans are confident they can bring hundreds of banners and place cards in to  St James' Park calling for Pardew's dismissal.

The creators of the "Sack Pardew" website organized the demonstration and have made the Newcastle City Council aware of their plans to protest, but have yet to hear from the club itself after revealing their intentions.

“We have 200 banners, similar in size to the ones you saw at Southampton on Saturday, that are currently being completed at printers around the city,” a spokesman told the Newcastle Chronicle, per the Telegraph. “They are small enough to conceal so we can get them into the stadium, but we don’t want to go down that road."

Fire safety certificates are a requirement for banners in Premier League stadiums, with the spokesman saying certificates have been acquired for each of the 200 banners.
