FA of Wales charged for pitch invasion in Andorra
UEFA have opened disciplinary proceedings for the pitch invasion that ensued following Gareth Bale's stunning free kick against Andorra on Tuesday.
Bale's left-footed strike in the 81st minute handed Wales a 2-1 away win to kick off their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign, sparking wild celebrations from the away supporters who made the trip to the principality.
Under UEFA Disciplinary Regulations, potential punishments include a warning, a fine, and a points deduction.
The Andorran Football Federation have also been charged for "improper conduct of the team" and "insufficient organization."
Both cases will be addressed by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body on Oct. 16.
