Kevin Doyle: Scores For Republic of Ireland In Friendly
Doyle scored for the Republic of Ireland during the 2-0 friendly win against Oman on Wednesday.
Analysis:
The Irish striker headed home from a near post corner after 20 minutes and went on to play 59 minutes after failing to appear for former club Wolves in the opening five games of the campaign. Doyle was a deadline day signing and looks set to fight it out with Dwight Gayle, Fraizer Campbell and Andrew Johnson for the sole striker's role.
