Report: Hatem Ben Arfa set to join Hull City

Hatem Ben Arfa's time with Newcastle United appears to be coming to an end.

The talented Frenchman is set to join Hull City after being told he could leave Newcastle, according to the Chronicle's Lee Ryder. 

Ben Arfa had reportedly refused a move to Birmingham City earlier in the day. 

The 27-year-old had a falling out with Newcastle manager Alan Pardew last season and was sent to train with the development squad in July.

He recorded 13 goals in 76 appearances for the Magpies after joining the club from Marseille in 2010.
