Laurent Koscielny: (Achilles) Trains Monday

Koscielny (Achilles) trained with Arsenal on Monday ahead of their Champions League qualifier against Besiktas in Turkey on Tuesday, Sky Sports reports.

Analysis:

Koscielny missed a few training sessions last week to rest an Achilles injury, but was able to play in Saturday's Premiership opener versus Crystal Palace. While the ailment still isn't fully recovered, the Frenchman was able to return to practice Monday. Nonetheless, Koscielny is considered questionable for Tuesday's Champions League match and his status probably won't be known until closer to kick-off. Should he be ruled out, manager Arsene Wenger could rush Per Mertesacker back from his post-World Cup schedule to feature alongside offseason signing Calum Chambers.
