Wayne Rooney: Scores in Opener

Rooney scored in the 53rd minute of Manchester United's surprising 2-1 loss to Swansea City at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Analysis:

Rooney took a flicked ball off a corner and scored on a great bicycle kick to level the game at 1-1. He took six shots on the day, with three landing on goal, but appeared to be the only real threat on the attack, as Adnan Januzaj was the only other player to take more than one shot. Rooney will look to start a scoring streak next week against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
