Frank Lampard: Joins Man City on Loan

Lampard has officially joined Manchester City on loan.

Analysis:

In preparation for New York City FC's inaugural season next year, Lampard will link up with the team's affiliate club in Manchester. The box-to-box midfielder will be available for selection for all of the Citizens' domestic and European matches, but could find it difficult to get consistent playing time given the sheer amount of quality depth at the Etihad.
