Loic Remy: Heading to Liverpool

Liverpool have agreed to pay QPR an £8 million fee for Remy's transfer, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Analysis:

Remy, who scored 14 goals in 26 appearances while on loan at Newcastle last season, could be a force up front for Liverpool alongside Daniel Sturridge. There were a few striker options that the Reds were looking at to replace the lost production by Luis Saurez, and Remy was probably the best available at less than £10 million.
