Loic Remy: Back from Calf Issue
Remy returned from a calf issue to come on as a first-half injury replacement Saturday against Swansea. He entered the match in the 40th minute for Luuk de Jong, who left with an ankle injury, and took two shots, although neither landed on goal.
Analysis:
Remy missed more than a month with his calf injury, but his return is a huge boost for a Newcastle side that is absolutely desperate for goals. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to find the back of the net Saturday, and it will likely be tougher next week against Arsenal at the Emirates.
