Vito Mannone: Loss to Everton

Mannone recorded three saves but was undone by an own goal to lose 1-0 to Everton on Saturday.

Analysis:

Mannone and Sunderland bounced back after getting destroyed by Spurs last week, but they were unable to grab any points. While it seems as though Sunderland are going to be relegated, Mannone and Sunderland will surely give every game a fight and clean sheets are the only way to have a chance to stay in the Premier League. With that said, they play at Stamford Bridge next weekend against a strong Chelsea side, so a clean sheet seems highly unlikely in that one.
