Loic Remy: Won't Face Stoke

Remy (calf) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Stoke City, the club's official web site reports. Manager Alan Pardew said Remy "won't make this game but is in training and we hope he'll be available next week."

Analysis:

The Newcastle attack has struggled greatly with Remy on the sideline and it looks like it could extend for at least another week. Remy has 13 goals and two assists in Premier League play this season, but hasn't played for Newcaslte since March 1 against Hull City.
