Fabio Borini: Start vs. Palace

Borini was inserted into the starting lineup but was unable to get any goals or assists as Sunderland and Crystal Palace drew 0-0 on Saturday.

Analysis:

Although Borini didn't score, he was able to get off four shots and even draw four fouls. He was arguably the most dangerous player on the pitch Saturday, and is likely to earn more frequent starts because of it. Sunderland using three forwards was a rare sight, so look for them to possibly try the formation again next week against Norwich.
