Andre Schurrle: Recovers from Calf Injury

Schurrle came on in the 66th minute of Wednesday's Champions League match against Steaua Bucuresti, finishing with two shots, one of which landed on goal.

Analysis:

Schurrle had suffered a calf injury in last weekend's match against Stoke but he clearly recovered in time to finish off Chelsea's group stage matches in the Champions League. The German, who has been in-and-out of the Chelsea starting XI this season, should be available for Saturday's Premier League match against Crystal Palace, although an appearance, or at least a start, is hardly guaranteed.
