Gabriel Jesus back in City squad for Manchester derby
Gabriel Jesus, sidelined since February with a metatarsal fracture, has recovered in time to face Manchester United in Thursday's derby.
The Manchester City youngster, who scored three goals in his first three Premier League matches, is available off the bench for the week's marquee matchup.
The 20-year-old suffered the injury early in a Feb. 13 fixture against Bournemouth. He had enjoyed a fantastic start to life in England after completing his loan spell at Palmeiras.
Jesus' effective play forced Pep Guardiola to bench Sergio Aguero at one point. But the Argentine has since proved himself, scoring 12 goals in his 14 appearances following the trip to Bournemouth.
Aguero kept his spot in the starting XI for Thursday's local tussle at the Etihad.
