Claudio Bravo featured in goal for the first time since January when Manchester City hosted Hull City on Saturday.
The Chilean has failed to earn a league start since a 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Jan. 21.
Pep Guardiola has opted to go with Willy Caballero between the sticks in the Premier League and Champions League of late, while Bravo has found himself relegated to FA Cup appearances.
Bravo has managed just four clean sheets in 19 league appearances during his first season with City.
Fabian Delph was another surprise inclusion in the lineup, as the English midfielder makes just his second appearance of the season in Guardiola's starting XI. He was also named a starter ahead of Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Chelsea.
