Swansea's Sigurdsson reveals dream of playing for 'big club'
Swansea City star Gylfi Sigurdsson has his eye on a move away from the club in the near future and is dreaming of joining a "big club" one day.
Prompted by praise issued from his manager Paul Clement - who said Sigurdsson was on the same level as players he had previously managed at Bayern Munich, Chelsea or Real Madrid - the Icelandic midfielder spoke of his desire to one day depart from the 17th-placed Premier League outfit.
"Of course that's very flattering," Sigurdsson told Goal.com of Clement's praise, as quoted by Sky Sports.
"Maybe he was just trying to give me confidence. Of course, it would be a dream to play for one of these big clubs.
"Hopefully if I continue doing well for Swansea and Iceland then in the near future, I can play in a big club. I am enjoying being one of the senior players, though."
