Podolski, 31, marked his final Die Mannschaft appearance with a stunning winner against England at the Westfalenstadion, and was given a standing ovation complete with a Hans Zimmer's "Now We Are Free" from the film "Gladiator" when taken off for Sebastian Rudy in the 84th minute.
