The Catalan gaffer was asked about his star striker's tenure with the club Friday ahead of a weekend Wearside visit to Sunderland, to which a clearly annoyed Guardiola said, "I've spoken 10 times about that ... 10 times, you know my opinion."

"I cannot answer at every single press conference about Sergio Aguero," Guardiola added. "He is so happy, I am so happy, we are so happy. So 10 times I answer, no more please."

With Aguero's contract with the club slated to expire in 2020 amid comments from the Argentine that his future will be discussed in the summer, speculation continues to mount over a potential exit for the club's third all-time leading scorer.

Those remarks from Aguero prompted a followup question from the reporter who asked, "Would you like him to stop talking to the press about it now then?"

Sporting a black turtleneck fitting of a Bond villain, Guardiola cracked a wry smile and said, "I was not clear in my answer?"

Game, set, match.
