Manchester United will be able to call on the services of crafty midfielder Juan Mata in the EFL Cup final, as the Spaniard was named in the starting XI against Southampton after attending his grandfather's funeral Saturday.
Mata, 28, didn't travel with the team to London, flying to Oviedo after the passing of his maternal grandfather. He linked back up with teammates ahead of the contest at Wembley, however, and is among the names on Jose Mourinho's team sheet.

Mata, who has found the net nine times in all competitions this season, will not be joined by Wayne Rooney in the starting XI, as the United captain was only named among the substitutes.
