Tottenham is headed to the next round of the FA Cup after Harry Kane completed his hat trick at Craven Cottage to give Spurs a 3-0 win over Fulham in Sunday's fifth-round tournament fixture.

Kane opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a sliding effort, then added a second at the 51-minute mark from a cross delivered by Christian Eriksen. With a bit more than 15 minutes remaining in the match, Kane completed his trio of goals, streaming through the Fulham defenders and landing his shot on target with ease.

It marks his ninth goal in nine appearances for Spurs in the 2017 calendar year, his fifth hat trick for Spurs in all competitions, and his 20th goal in his last 22 matches against other London-based outfits.

Those efforts were rewarded with a much-deserved break, as Kane was substituted off after scoring his third, with his teammates seeing out the result and securing a berth in the FA Cup sixth round, the first time Spurs has made the quarterfinals since 2011-12.
