It didn't take long for West Ham to memorialise Andy Carroll's epic strike against Crystal Palace.

The east London side unveiled a new mural outside London Stadium depicting the moment Carroll got his foot on the ball before scoring with an acrobatic bicycle kick last month.

West Ham also appeared to acknowledge former midfielder Dimitri Payet on Instagram with the accompanying text which read, "Out with the old, in with the new."

The new portrait - which is accompanied by Carroll's shirt number and several tweets - replaces Payet's mural after the French midfielder forced his way out of the club. Payet eventually secured a move back to Marseille.
