Conte, Costa, Pedro pick up monthly Premier League awards

Chelsea has taken a clean sweep of the Premier League's monthly awards for November, with Antonio Conte being bestowed with the manager's honour, Diego Costa getting the nod for the players' gong, and Pedro's curling effort against Tottenham Hotspur deemed the best goal over the 30 days.

It marks the second consecutive month that the Blues have taken multiple awards, as Conte collected his first Manager of the Month prize in October, while Eden Hazard was declared Player of the Month.

For Conte and Costa, it wasn't much of a contest. Chelsea won all four matches over the month to earn a three-point grip on top spot in the division, with Costa's two goals and two assists in this period - and greater maturity over the whole of this term - directly linked to working under Conte, who assumed his role following Italy's Euro 2016 campaign.

Pedro had a similarly sensational month, concluding with a slick turn and swerving strike in a 2-1 defeat of Spurs on Nov. 26.

Conte is unlikely to make any wholesale changes to his 3-4-3 setup for Sunday's visit from West Bromwich Albion, although Willian is pushing for selection ahead of Pedro after his goal-scoring cameo at Manchester City last weekend.
