Conflicting reports on Lallana's availability for Bournemouth bout

Adam Lallana may be in contention for Sunday's trip to Bournemouth after he returned to Liverpool training Thursday, according to Sky Sports, but other outlets are suggesting otherwise.

The in-form England international was sidelined in early November after suffering a groin issue while with the national team, but he could make a timely return to first-team consideration following news of Philippe Coutinho's ankle injury.

That forecast was countered by the Liverpool Echo's Joe Rimmer, however, who noted that Lallana, Daniel Sturridge, Joel Matip, and Roberto Firmino were all absent from the weekly training photos posted on Liverpool's website Wednesday night.

Those potential missing pieces would pose a selection headache for manager Jurgen Klopp, who may have to draft the likes of Lucas Leiva into the midfield and Divock Origi into the attack for the journey to Dean Court.
