Master and student: Conte set for reunion with ex-pupil Pogba

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte knows a thing or two about Manchester United's star midfielder, Paul Pogba.

During his time at Juventus, Conte orchestrated a move to bring the Frenchman - then just a teenager - to Turin out of Old Trafford. Together, the two found success both as a team and as individuals. When Conte became manager of Italy, Pogba stayed with the Bianconeri and continued to thrive.

Now, the two have made the switch to the Premier League, with Pogba returning to the Red Devils and Conte taking over at Chelsea, and at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, master and student will reunite.

It's a match Conte is relishing, but not one he is planning for much differently.

"He was born in England, in terms of the football aspect," Conte said of Pogba, according to ESPN FC. "I remember when we took him from Manchester United.

"A fantastic player. A great player. He deserves (everything). For him, to come back in Manchester United was his dream. I wish for him the best, but only after the game on Sunday."

Added Conte: "We must pay attention to the whole team of Manchester United. In their team there are a lot of great players.

"One of these is, for sure, (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic. A player I consider a fantastic player. But there are many, many players. We must pay attention, the whole team together, to their type of play and to find the right solution when we have the ball, and when we are without the ball."
