Newcastle United's Moussa Sissoko: Tottenham submit transfer bid

Tottenham have submitted a transfer bid for Sissoko of around £16 million, reports Sky Sports.

Analysis:

Newcastle view the midfielder's value closer to £30 million after interest in the player throughout the transfer window. Sissoko joined Newcastle from Toulouse in 2013, and has said that to continue his development he needs to be playing for a team that competes in the Champions League.
