Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has cried foul on recent quotes attributed to him that suggested he was open for a move to Real Madrid.

The Borussia Dortmund forward confessed that it used to be a dream of his to represent Los Blancos, but not anymore as he continues preparations for the 2016-17 season.

Aubameyang is set to feature in the International Champions Cup against a reported interest party in Manchester City on Thursday, but Michael Zorc, a prominent member of the Dortmund hierarchy, refuted any deal is forthcoming for the 27-year-old.

"All these rumours have already followed us this summer," he said. "We can only repeat, as always, that he has a contract with us until 2020 and feels good at Borussia Dortmund - as it should remain."

Der BVB has had to contend with the departures of Ilkay Gundogan, Mats Hummels, and Henrikh Mkhitaryan so far this summer, and kicks off its Bundesliga campaign Aug. 27 against FSV Mainz 05.
