Perhaps overwhelmed at witnessing the rare sight of Dwight Gayle scoring a goal, an elated Newcastle United fan congratulated his side's new striker before simply returning to his spot in the stands.

But when jumping the advertising hoardings at Bohemian FC's Dalymount Park on Saturday, his foray onto the pitch suddenly wasn't so seamless.

Newcastle is in Ireland undergoing preparations for the 2016-17 Championship season, with its first clash coming at Fulham on Aug. 5.
