Liverpool is on the verge of adding one of the Premier League's most electric attackers to its ranks, as multiple reports in England claim the Reds have agreed to a £30-million deal with Southampton for versatile forward Sadio Mane.

Andy Hunter of The Guardian reports the Senegalese, 24, will undergo a medical on Monday before finalising his move to Anfield. Personal terms between Mane and Liverpool are expected to be hammered out this week.

In joining the Reds, Mane will follow in the footsteps of many a Saint past. Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren, Nathaniel Clyne, and Rickie Lambert have all made the same move of late, with varying degrees of success.

Mane, who joined Liverpool from Red Bull Salzburg ahead of the 2014-15 campaign, led Southampton in scoring this past season, netting 15 goals in all competitions.

Southampton has already moved to replace the pacey attacker, bringing in Nathan Redmond from Norwich City on Saturday.

Mane offers Liverpool bench boss Jurgen Klopp another enticing attacking option, as the German gaffer already has the likes of Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and, in a more traditional midfield role, Philippe Coutinho at his disposal.
